From June 23rd to the 24th, Homestake Lodge of Butte, Montana will host the second annual Continental Divide Running Clinic. The camp atmosphere is designed to improve running performance by taking the guess work out of the athlete’s training and racing. This clinic is open to all runners and coaches who are interested in learning from an expertly trained staff. The clinic’s principal sponsor is Kirk Keller, MS, of Keller Coaching. Kirk is a Level II USA Track & Field (USATF) Certified Endurance Coach and National Level Official.

“Attendees are in for a real treat with the professional coaching staff that we have lined up,” says Keller. “The clinic staff will offer a wealth of expertise and experience to participants.” The coaching roster features Dr. Jim Walker, who is the Sports Science Director at the Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray, Utah. Dr. Walker, an Olympic Trials Marathon Qualifier, will present sessions on the latest research regarding running mechanics and training optimization. Alongside Walker will be John Zombro of Zombro Physical Therapy, located in Bozeman, to discuss injury prevention and rehabilitation, Casey Jermyn of the Bozeman Running Company to address advances in running shoe technology. The staff will be available throughout the duration of the clinic to answer questions and provide insight.

“Over the course of the weekend runners will have a chance to learn from the best, run on single track mountain trails, eat great food, and enjoy the beautiful Homestake Lodge setting for what would be the cost of a good pair of running shoes. What the participants learn from the clinic could very well prove to be priceless in their future training.” The clinic will begin the the afternoon of the 23rd, and conclude mid-day on Sunday, the 24th. Lodging provided. For more information including a clinic brochure and registration materials, please contact Kirk Keller by at kkeller145k@gmail.com or phone at (406) 451-3017.
